Food Aid Program The Department of Agriculture provides timely food aid to eligible families and low-income individuals.

Eligibility is based on the financial situation of all members of a household.
Everyone who lives together and buys and prepares food together is considered a member of the same household group.
In general, we'll look at expenses, activities, and revenue to determine which, if any, benefits you might be eligible for. Application process You must fill in and submit an application to determine if you are able to receive assistance with assistance such as food, Medicaid, child care, temporary money, an emergency, etc., through MDHHS.

Most states allow online applications for EBT Cards through the application for Food Stamps (SNAP Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) or cash benefits through Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).
