The Illinois Home Weatherization Assistance Program (IHWAP) is designed to help reduce the energy costs for low income households by making their homes more energy efficient. The State of Illinois offers services to help you weatherize your home. This lowers your energy costs, saves energy, and helps our environment. It also supports our economy by supporting jobs.

Most states allow online applications for EBT Cards through the application for Food Stamps (SNAP Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) or cash benefits through Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).
